Installation

We will, of course, undertake installation by fully experienced and professional fitters. However, it is worth noting the following points for obtaining the best results.

Estimating

Once you have decided upon the carpet you like, you are well advised to have it professionally fitted. We advise that an estimate is more accurate when we are able to visit the location to measure the area and assess the situation. When you receive an estimate, we will advise you on: Appropriate underlay - including pads on stair treads and risers. Extra work such as clearing the room, adjusting door sizes, type of fixing accessories, door plates etc.

Underlay

At Lloyd Carpets, we believe it is essential to fit a quality underlay to enhance and prolong the live of your carpet. We offer a choice of two underlays.

Preparation

We can fully prepare your floor prior to fitting. Services include boarding and latex screading. This minimizes the imperfections in your floor and creates a more professional finish to your flooring particularly when fitting vinyl.
